1. Rental deposit
We require 50% of the rental amount in order to confirm a rental
booking for the dates requested (see no.12 below). The balance is
due 45 days before arrival. Rental deposit is acceptable in the form
of Visa/MC/AM.
2. Security deposit
We require a security deposit in the form of an open, signed Visa/MC
imprint upon check-in by all guests. In the event no credit card is
available, a minimum deposit of US$250 will be required at check-in. In view of the well-furnished
condition of the property, the security deposit is held to cover:

(i) any
damage to the property (reasonable wear and tear excluded)
-
(ii) the cost of any items missing from the check-in inventory
-
(iii) undeclared extra persons occupying the property (see no. 7
below)

(iv) the cost of cleaning all soft furnishings as a result of
smoking (see no. 10 below).
3. Credit cards
Our property manager accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express
for credit card transactions.
4. Cancellation
In the event of cancellation by the guest, the amount of 1 night's
rent will be forfeited. (This will be calculated by dividing the
total amount due by the total number of nights booked). The
remainder will be refunded provided written notice of the
cancellation has been received by Caribbean Beach Rentalsno less
than 45 days before the scheduled arrival date. In the case of a
rental cancellation covering Christmas/New Year's week(s), we must
receive the written notice by October 1st. Notice in accordance with
the above conditions is acceptable to Caribbean Beach Rentals in the
form of e-mail, fax or letter. In the event that cancellation is
made less than 45 days (or October 1st for Christmas/New Year's
week), all rent deposit paid will be forfeited unless Caribbean
Beach Rentals is able to re-book the entire period of the cancelled
booking. There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures.
5. Check-In
Check-in is any time after 2PM. Keys are made available via a
lockbox unless other arrangements are made.
6. Check-Out
Check-out is 10AM unless agreed otherwise by the rental office in
Playacar.
7. Extra Person Charge
In the event that more persons are occupying the rental unit than
specified to Caribbean Beach Rentals before arrival, there will be
an extra charge of US$25/night per person.
8. Liability
Caribbean Beach Rentals and the HT Group accepts no responsibility
for any injury incurred on the premises. In particular:

(i) you are cautioned against slipping on tiled floors,
especially with water under foot.

(ii) you are
reminded that open doors especially at a time of high wind could
cause rapid and unexpected door
slamming with
resultant injury or damage to property.
Caribbean Beach Rentals and the HT Group will not be responsible for
loss or damage to personal property of guest(s).
9. Pets
No pets of any kind are allowed in the rental units.
10.Smoking
No smoking is allowed within the rooms of the rental property.
Smoking is permitted however on an outside balcony where available.
11.Maid Service
Standard every other day maid service is provided. Extra services can be
arranged for an agreed additional charge.
12.Contract
Caribbean Beach Rentals regards a booking as confirmed and Caribbean
Beach Rentals upon receipt of the first payment made in respect of
an agreed rental. The contract is subject to the laws of the State
of Quintana Roo in Mexico. By making the first payment, the renter(s)
acknowledge that the above conditions apply unless any variation is
agreed in writing by an authorized agent of Caribbean Beach Rentals
